Dublin, Ireland - Changing My Relationship with Clothing
#threadtalestravel Dublin, Ireland - “Heres the thing, I tend to go for very comfortable clothing and as a result I always wear the same thing. I always see outfits on people that I really like, but always think that’s not me, or I could never wear that.
Also I never had a good relationship with clothing because I’ve always been super tall with long limbs. I was a swimmer, so that really never translated into a certain style so to speak.
As far as what I’m wearing today, we were exploring Dublin and went down this really cool street, and stopped the cab driver because we saw this Irish boutique that had these vintage dresses. I tried this dress on because I liked the heart pattern but didn’t think it was really me. You see, I don’t own any dresses because I used to think dresses were more formal or meant to be worn for a special occasion.
But when I put it on, Brett (my man) said that “looks really good on you.” I felt good in it, and I still felt comfortable in it and after I bought it put a lot of thought into which day I should wear it this week.
