Going For the Dream Job
#mythreadtales In the spirit of embracing why I started Thread Tales of Austin in the first place...I have a big interview today for a job that allows me to do the kind of work I truly love and with a team who embraces my quirks, wacky ideas, and bad jokes. It’s a longshot and I’m really putting myself out there...(and I’m sure at this exact moment some of you are probably wondering “then why are you wearing torn jeans & sneakers?”) Well, these are my favorite jeans, these sneakers give me life, and a window pane blazer makes me feel like a boss. I figured if I don’t feel like my unique self, how would I ever be able to share my unique self, ideas, and value with anyone else.
